six million ways to see - choose one
440 mm x 550 mm oil- and acrylcolor + pencils on canvas
i wish i could do better with my camera, but i hope you´re able to see the details.
almost a self-portrait, but due to the eye and the cubes...
the picture is about picking out one point of view.
but it has to fit the basic structure of yourself...
the simple and even cubes are in contrast to the irrational built cubelike red structures. just like the conventional, and unconventional ways of seeing things...
(if you´re zoomed in, you should see the red ones are the kind of impossible cube, escher used in "belvedere")
the even cubes seem to fit way easier, but most times it´s more interesting to have an eye for the more complicated and unconventional things...
feel free to let me know your thoughts...
i want to dedicate this to liviaa [link] , her pictures made me do something about the surface texture of the canvas-parts...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
